Abstract:  With the rapid development of the corpus linguistics and the cognitive linguistics, people’s understanding of chunks has shifted from the theoretical level to the practical level. Therefore, much attention has been paid to chunks and their status in second language acquisition and application has been improved. Just as the foreign linguists use different terms to call chunks, different linguists give different definition and criteria to categorization of chunks, but their divergence does not influence the important role chunks play in second language acquisition and foreign language teaching. This paper, under the instruction of the lexical chunk theory, by means of questionnaires and data analysis, studies the problems in the English writing teaching in Chinese senior high schools. Combining with the benefits of chunks in second language acquisition and foreign language teaching as well as the lexical approach proposed by Lewis(1993), this paper gives some suggestions to improving the proficiency and competence of Chinese senior high school students.

摘要: 隨著語料庫語言學和認知語言學的迅速發展,人們對語塊的認識經歷了一個從理論到實踐的認識過程。語塊的作用越來越受到重視,在語言習得與應用中的地位也相應提高。語塊通常作為一個整體儲存在記憶中,使用時直接提取,無需根據語塊規則生成和分析。由于國外語言學家并未使用統一的名詞稱呼語塊,不同的語言學家對其定義與分類也不盡相同。但這并不影響語塊在二語習得及外語教學中的重要作用。本文在語塊理論的指導下,通過問卷調查和數據分析的方法,從高中英語寫作教學著手,對高中英語寫作中存在的問題進行研究, 并結合語塊在二語習得及外語教學中的作用和Lewis的語塊教學法,找出切實可行的解決辦法,提高高中學生的英語寫作水平與能力。
